Art Gallery: Halos of Being
by Mark T. Smith
with commentary by Michael Schwartz

This month we present the work of Mark T. Smith, a celebrated American painter who is best known for his colorful, complex paintings, and his passion for the application of art into the fabric of everyday life.

Corporate patronage helped Mark become an increasingly recognizable figure in the crowded New York City art world, and his patrons included the likes of MTV, Pepsi, AT&T, Budweiser, VH-1, and many more. The distinctiveness of Smith's work culminated in the national Absolut Vodka campaign in 1996, entitled "Absolut Smith." His artwork has been displayed everywhere from museums and galleries in the U.S. and abroad, to the walls of discerning collectors and celebrities like Jay Leno, Neil Diamond and Elton John. We are deeply honored for the opportunity to present this exquisite gallery to you all....
