Preliminary Harvard Study Suggests: Integral Practice Associated with Higher Mindfulness Scores

For the past ten years I have been studying the potential of mindfulness practices to catalyze emotional development in adult life and have just finished my doctorate on this topic working with Robert Kegan at Harvard. The question at the core of my research is: How can being more mindful of difficult emotions help people develop the abilities to communicate more skillfully and not act on those emotions in ways that hurt themselves and others? Like many associated with the Integral Institute, my goal is to help people develop greater wisdom and compassion, and to act in ways that are more kind and loving....
